BIOGRAPHY
Haig Avedesian, a Rhode Island native, in the construction industry since 1974, has degrees in Business Management and Building Engineering. Avedesian Construction (formally established in Sedona, AZ 1992) has created numerous custom homes and spaces.
Experiences include:
- Senior Engineer for Gilbane Building Company (Providence, RI), Haig was entrusted with projects ranging from $5 million to $250 million.
- Partner with Boczanowski Construction (San Diego, CA), He was responsible for sales and marketing of a 45 unit luxury ocean front condominium project.
- Project Coordinator on a 100 unit single family development (Medway, MA)
As a 100-ton licensed Master Captain, Haig was in charge of Motor Vessel Betsy, the America's Cup tender for Team Dennis Conner and the Stars & Stripes. Sailing travels have taken him to Sweden, Australia, Italy, Canada, Rhode Island and San Diego for yacht racing. Haig values the importance of excellent communication, planning and logistics in getting any job done right. On the water or off, he is always at the hub of operations.
